Harrisburg School District’s Student Services Enrollment Center and the District office will be CLOSED on Fridays. The Student Services Enrollment Center will be open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Summer Bridge Program for Incoming Harrisburg High School Freshmen and the Class of 2030!
Plan now to attend Harrisburg High School’s Summer Bridge Program for incoming freshmen at JOHN HARRIS CAMPUS on August 10, 11, 12, and 13 from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm. This is your chance to connect with future classmates and teachers, participate in exciting team-building activities, and start planning your high school journey so that you can graduate with the Class of 2030!

Notice of Updates for Board Meetings
The Harrisburg School District would like to inform the public that the General Business Board Meeting, originally set for Tuesday, May 19, 2026, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM. This change is due to the upcoming election.
Additionally, a Special Board Meeting will take place on June 30, 2026, to address general business matters.
Both meetings will be held in the Administration Building (Board Room) at 1010 North 7th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102.

Due to a building maintenance issue, Camp Curtin Academy will be closed tomorrow - Friday, May 15. Instead of holding in-person classes, students will participate in a Flexible Instruction Day so that learning can continue at home. Attendance still counts, and instructions for participation will be shared by your child’s teacher. Please stay tuned for information and updates. Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

Kudos and thanks to our Camp Curtin Academy families and students who came out for this evening's Power PSSA & Family Engagement Fun Night. In addition to good food, games, and family fun, families received information about the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) testing changes, preparation strategies, the power of encouragement and boosting their child's confidence, and how to support their child's overall educational success.

On December 2, 2025, the Harrisburg School Board of Directors conducted their reorganization meeting, which resulted in Ms. Roslyn Copeland being elected as President and Ms. Autumn Anderson as Vice President with service from January 2026 through December 2026.
Please join us in congratulating President Copeland and Vice President Anderson, as well as our seven other School Board Directors: Mr. Brian Carter, Ms. Annie Hughes, Ms. Jaime Johnsen, Mr. Doug Thompson-Leader, Ms. Terricia Radcliff, Ms. Danielle Robinson, and Mr. Ellis Roy. All were sworn in by Dauphin County's Magisterial District Judge, the Honorable Hanif Johnson.
