Red Ribbon Week 2022

What is National Red Ribbon Week?

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. During this time, we bring awareness to the dangers of drug use, particularly in children. This year's theme is "Celebrate Life. Live Drug-free."

Rowland will have several activities for this week and we're asking for scholars' participation.

Tuesday:  Doing drugs is bad.  No cap!  Wear caps and hats or continue our Tuesday "Dress for Success" day by wearing red.

Wednesday:  Our future is too bright to do drugs!  Wear shades and/or neon colors.

Thursday:  Sock it to drugs!  Wear crazy or mixed-up socks with shoes!

Friday: Be a JEAN-ius and stay away from drugs!  Wear jeans and a red shirt.
