 ChildLine is part of a mandated statewide child protective services program designed to accept child abuse referrals and general child well-being concerns, and transmit the information quickly to the appropriate investigating agency.

 ChildLine is responsible for receiving verbal and electronic referrals 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Dauphin County Crisis Intervention: 717-232-7511

Crisis Intervention is the 24-hour emergency mental health service provided by the Dauphin County Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities Program. Crisis Intervention staff provide supportive counseling, outreach, assessment, and referral information to individuals experiencing an emotional crisis or difficulty in coping with a personal problem.

The Department of Human Services (DHS) announced the launch of a statewide Support & Referral Helpline staffed by skilled and compassionate caseworkers who will be available 24/7 to counsel Pennsylvanians struggling with anxiety and other challenging emotions due to the COVID-19 emergency and refer them to community-based resources that can further help to meet individual needs.

Safe2Say Something is an easy and confidential way to report safety concerns to help prevent violence and tragedies. The tip line is operated and monitored 24/7 by the Office of the Attorney General where tips are reviewed, classified, and forwarded to the appropriate school district. Tips that are found to contain information that may indicate a "life safety" issue are prioritized and immediately forwarded to the appropriate county emergency dispatch center.
