PDE Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit

The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has officially notified the Harrisburg School District that at least one or more of its schools has been identified as a low-achieving school enabling students residing within the boundaries of these schools the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to attend a participating public or non-public school.

The following are the school(s) within the district designated as low achieving:
- 1. Harrisburg High School
- 2. Benjamin Franklin School
- 3. Camp Curtin School
- 4. Cougar Academy
- 5. Downey School
- 6. Foose School
- 7. Marshall School
- 8. Melrose School
- 9. Rowland School
- 10. Scott School

Parental Responsibilities: Under the program, parents are responsible for contacting and enrolling their students in a participating public or nonpublic school.
