The Harrisburg School District increased its daily Substitute Teacher pay rate for highly qualified substitute teachers. Day to Day Substitute Teacher: $200.00 Per Day.

- Building Substitute Teacher : $225.00 Per Day.
- Long Term Substitute Teacher: $250.00 Per Day (Will have to create Lesson Plans, stay for school meetings and speak to parents ).
- Day To Day Retired Teachers: $275.00 Per Day
- Long Term Retired Teachers $300.00 Per Day.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or PA Teaching Certificate
- Follows PDE Requirements
