Family Engagement

A great way to get involved in your child's education is by volunteering at their school.  Each Parent Engagement Specialist welcomes the chance to involve parents.  All parents who would like to volunteer must first complete all the necessary clearances, before they begin volunteering at the school during school hours.  The clearances needed are: FBI, PA State Police, PA Child Abuse, and a TB Test.  Please contact the Parent Engagement Specialist at your child's school if you need assistance applying for your clearances.  Or you may contact the Harrisburg School District Human Resources Department directly.

 

Please be advised that the fee for two of the required clearances for volunteers is waived through Child Line and the State Police.  The links to complete the forms online are as follows:
